Confirm every detail
Review licensing, insurance, fuel policy, embarkation point, catering, weather terms and cancellation provisions with the charter provider. Never send funds without verifying the contracting company.
Safety before spectacle
A beautiful vessel is only one part of a responsible charter. Verify the contracting company, commercial registration, crew qualifications, insurance, passenger limits and operating area. The agreement should explain fuel, food, gratuities, weather decisions, cancellation terms and what happens if the planned route cannot operate.
Design a realistic day
Choose the embarkation point and route around sea conditions, guest comfort and time ashore. Shade, stabilization, water access, cabin privacy and dietary planning often matter more than maximum vessel length. Keep the itinerary flexible and follow the captain’s judgment on safety and conditions.
